A Chinese famille rose lime-green sgraffito-ground porcelain dish with floral decoration, Guangxu mark and probably of the period (1875–1908)

This finely potted porcelain dish is decorated in the famille rose palette on a lime-green sgraffito ground. The decoration was created through a combination of techniques: the green ground was first applied and then finely incised with an intricate scrolling pattern beneath the glaze, producing a subtle textured surface that remains visible beneath the enamel decoration.

The floral design was subsequently painted in famille rose enamels, with the blossoms and foliage reserved against the engraved green ground. This interplay between coloured glaze, incised decoration, and overglaze enamelling demonstrates the technical sophistication of late Qing porcelain production.

The reverse bears a six-character Guangxu mark in underglaze blue and is further decorated with iron-red bamboo sprays around the foot rim. The dish is probably of the Guangxu period (1875–1908).
